Some people, (and they are some of my favorite people,) need to have 📚 around them, in every room! This client was a professor of history and loved both books and cooking. We created a kitchen that had plenty of room for both.

Do you love collecting? Things that evoke a time in the past, that show the hands of a skilled craftsperson, have a magical appleal for me. The homeowner on this project loved Blenko Glass, made in West Virginia from 1893 till the present day! Of course we had to make that collection the centerpiece of her home design.

All I need is my beloved family and friends, I am so thankful to have them all in my life

The most fun in my day is when we get to assemble textures, prints, colors, woods, and tiles into a complete harmonious whole. These are for a past cabin project. The goal is to create a cast of materials, each of which brings its own unique contribution.

A blue mood, for a client that wanted peace and calm in her living room. I am enjoying working with her inherited oak pieces, and keeping the color to the pillows and the lovely wool rug. The neutral fabrics each bring a different mix of texture, fiber and subtle color.
